- The centre is close to public transport links.
- Trying to make the centre greener and reduce our wastage by:
- We have Sheffield bike stands available for public use to encourage cycling – these were bought with money from Peggy Payne’s fundraising events.
- Solar panels are fitted on the roof
- Majority of lights inside and out are now LED
- Outside building lights are all photo cell so will only come on when dark
- We have had lots of new trees planted around the centre from Notts Treeplanters
- Recycling centre for glass, paper, cardboard and tins.
